As lifelong surfers, protecting our skin is a ritual. But for years, we faced a dilemma. The chemical sunscreens that washed off easily were often packed with nasty ingredients like oxybenzone, which studies show can harm the fragile coral reefs we call our playground. We couldn't be a part of that.

So, like many of you, we switched to what works: thick, natural, mineral-based zinc. It protects our skin, and it respects our ocean. But that created a new problem: the end-of-day scrub.
